One of the most exciting Pattaya festivals of the year is always the Pattaya International Fireworks Display. Taking place for the past four years, this festival has become a popular addition to the Pattaya events calendar and is still eagerly-awaited. If you are looking for one of the most fantastic fireworks festivals in Thailand, nothing can match this one!
The Pattaya Fireworks Display is not merely a show but is more of an international competition to find out who has the best fireworks show. Countries from all over the world come to take part in this event to find out who is the best.
Visiting Pattaya for a holiday will be the most memorable experience of your life. There is so far to see and do, and if you are a fan of nightlife escapades, exploring Walking Street is a great idea. However, if you are in Pattaya in November, you can go to the North end of Pattaya Beach near to the Hard Rock Hotel to see the fireworks, and the best part is that it’s for free!
The competition usually starts with a spectacular 20-minute firework display before we make our way to the shows of each nation. The scene is spectacular, lighting the sky up in the most impressive manner. Make sure you bring your camera along because some of the pictures are merely scintillating.
The show kicks off at around 5 pm, but it’s not until approximately 8 pm until the main fireworks displays begin. One of the best parts of the show (on the second night) is when all four international teams have a 45-minute firework display that is synchronised. This is one of the most spectacular things you will ever witness.
To accompany the event, there is a multitude of food and drink stalls, live musicians and live DJs that will keep the party going into the night. The game is visited by many local government people and dignitaries and has become quite a glittering affair for Pattaya City and its residents.
